The 14th edition of the prestigious West Coast Elite Camp was held last Saturday (Nov. 3) at the College of Southern Nevada and, as always, the talent was strong and there were college coaches from all over the nation there to scout and evaluate the athletes.

Since the West Coast Elite Camp was started in 2005 by OnDeck Softball’s Derek and Joanne Allister, 14 of the alumni from the West Coast Elite Camp have gone on to All-American careers at the collegiate level with five playing for Team USA and one earning NCAA National Player of the Year honors.

Odds are high, then, that several of the players on the Henderson, Nevada fields last weekend will go on to future stardom at the collegiate and possibly even Team USA or pro levels.

Here’s a consensus of a dozen players, listed alphabetically, who impressed in the testing and on-field drills with comments from Derek Allister.
