As we get ready to launch the 2021 Extra Elite 100 on Monday January 7, 2019 (click HERE to see the complete schedule), we’re profiling players and teams who are strong candidates to make the list.

Today we spotlight the PA Strikers 16U National team coached by Camille Hayes which has a quartet of standout sophomores to watch.

In 2018, the team finished 5th at the both the PGF 14U Premier Nationals and the TC/USA Nationals and also had impressive showings at the Team NJ Summer Showcase (5-1 record) and the Ohio Outlaws Summer Showcase (9-0 and champions of the Power Pool).

*****

SS/P Brianna Peck (2021, Drexel)
Bre has been described by scouts as one of the most athletic players they have ever seen play the game. Standing 5-foot-10 with a solid muscular body structure and speed and agility to match her power, this “phenom” has the strenghth and swing at the plate that scares even the most experienced pitchers and their coaches.

She blasted eight home runs this past Fall season, added five big extra base hits and racked up 22 RBIs for her team while playing in three of the country’s top Fall Showcases. Defensively, Bre is a recognized All-State SS (2018 PIAA First Team Honors) with an overhand throw speed recently clocked at 74mph. She uses that same amazing arm speed to lead her team from the pitcher’s circle where she creates havoc for opposing batters. This past Fall, Bre struck out 35 batters in her 23.2 innings pitched.
