The stage was set for another underdog run. Just three years after their initial Women’s College World Series appearance under Trisha Ford, Arizona State was in position to make a run at another championship berth. Things were going well in Tempe… until they weren’t, as ASU had to watch another team clinch a Super Regional berth on their own home field in Tempe.
Now, the Sun Devils enter 2022 with a chip on their shoulder and something to prove.
