It was a surprisingly overcast and blustery day, but the middle day of action in the So Cal A’s Invitational at Harvard Park in Irvine, California saw a little of everything including a couple of ties—there’s no new innings after 90 innings in the event—and some impressive come-from-behind wins.
There were great pitching performances, tape measure home runs including a grand slam or two and even standout defensive plays.
Saturday’s action ended the pool play and the bracket games kicked off with one on Saturday at 7:30 pm PST and the single elimination format will kick off Sunday morning.
