North Florida is hiring Amber Fiser as an assistant coach, sources confirmed to Extra Inning Softball on Wednesday.
Fiser is expected to serve as the Ospreys’ pitching coach.
The position is Fiser’s first full-time coaching position; she spent the last two years on staff as a graduate assistant at Missouri, where she was part of the support staff that helped lead the Tigers to a regional-hosting berth and an SEC championship game appearance in 2022.
An All-American pitcher at Minnesota, Fiser led the Gophers to the first Women’s College World Series appearance in program history and threw every inning of the team’s regional and Super Regional games during that postseason run. She was the Big Ten Pitcher of the Year in 2019 and earned 98 wins in her career in the circle.
