Breaking News: 2020 Extra Elite 100 Rankings to Begin Labor Day (Sept. 3)!

After an eventful summer of watching top players and teams at showcases and national tournaments, Extra Inning Softball will go “back to school” and roll out the next class of top student-athletes as we launch the 2020 Extra Elite 100 rankings three weeks from today!

The top current junior prospects will be honored starting Monday, Sept. 3, 2018 (which is also Labor Day) and for the following three weeks we’ll look at the best of the best in the 2020 class.

It won’t just be the Elite 100 who are honored however… we will do a rankings list that goes 500-deep as we feature these athletes who will be headed to college a year from now!

To do this, we’ll be in touch with more than 200 club and college scouts and—under the direction of Executive Editor Brentt Eads who originated the top 100 rankings lists used in softball and has ranked over nine classes from 2014 to 2022—will have the most extensive and thorough rankings and bios available.

Here is the schedule of the two-week run when we’ll unveil 10 prospects per day counting down from #100 through #1 in the Class of 2020 and a third week which will include a spotlight on the #1 player, the players rated #’s 101-500 and a list of which colleges are in line to have the top recruiting classes:

• Mon., Sept. 17: Extra Elite 100 #1 Player Spotlight
