
It should come as no surprise that elite players across the nation are committing right up until the last minute before legislation that passed last Wednesday by the NCAA in regards to no recruiting contact with a prospect before Sept. 1 of the athlete’s junior year goes into effect tomorrow, Wednesday, April 25, 2018.
The most publicized one was Layla Lamar, a 6th grader who committed a week or so ago to Florida, but there have been double digit numbers along with her who have verballed recently in advance of the new rule taking effect.
