Breaking News: Next Elite 100 Rankings… Class of 2018 to Kickoff May 7

After a very successful launch of our club rankings with the Extra Inning Softball Elite 100 for the Class of 2022, the next round of Elite 100 Rankings has been finalized—it will be the players in the Class of 2018 which will start in in about two weeks and run throughout May.

So why jump from 8^th graders to seniors?

It will provide a nice lead-in to other key senior-dominated events including the ESPN All-American Game and the Louisville Slugger Hit Club, both tied into the PGF Nationals in late July/early August.

Over the next few weeks, we’ll talk to close to 125-150 club and college scouts to identify the 100 most elite players in the 2028 class.

It won’t just be the Elite 100 who are honored however… we will do a rankings list that goes 500 deep as we do the final version featuring these athlete who will be headed to college in just a few months!

Here is the schedule of the two-week run when we’ll unveil 10 prospects per day counting down from #100 through #1 and beyond:

• Thu., May 10: #’s 70-61
• Fri., May 11: #’s 60-51

• Mon., May 14: #’s 50-41
• Tues., May 15: #’s 40-31
• Wed., May 16: #’s 30-21
• Thu., May 17: #’s 20-11
• Fri., May 18: #’s 10-1

• Mon., May 21: Elite 100 #1 Player Spotlight
• Tues., May 22: #’s 101-200
• Wed., May 23: #’s 201-300
• Thu., May 24: #’s 301-400
• Fri., May 25: #’s 401-500
• Sat., May 26: Top College Recruiting Rankings-Class of ’18
