With the softball world’s attention on the Women’s College World Series, several key job openings are looking to get filled and one did this week as Missouri hired Larissa Anderson as its 10th coach.
You can read about her hiring HERE in a release announced on the Missouri site.
Anderson was the head coach at Hofstra University where she compiled a 130-73-1 (.640) record with a pair of NCAA Tournament appearances, two Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) titles and four winning seasons.
As reported last week, Texas is looking for a new coach after Connie Clark stepped down after 26 years and serving as the only head coach the Longhorn softball program has had.
Other key openings yet to be filled include Alabama-Birmingham, Lamar, North Carolina State, Iowa, Rutgers, Virginia Tech and now Delaware.
