Nearly thirty conference championship games will be played across the country on Saturday; the winners of each game will receive their conference’s automatic bid to the NCAA tournament.
The graphic above illustrates championship games aired on the ESPN family of networks. Some championships will be broadcast or live-streamed on other platforms.
Of note, in the Northeast Conference, while Long Island and Merrimack will play for the NEC tournament crown, LIU has already clinched the conference’s NCAA tournament berth because Merrimack is still postseason-ineligible as part of the transition period up from Division II.
Prairie View A&M has already secured the SWAC tournament crown and the league’s automatic bid to the NCAA tournament. The Big West and West Coast Conferences are the leagues still deciding their conference champions with the final weekend of the regular season.
