On Friday, Creighton and head coach Brent Vigness parted ways. Vigness spent 29 years leading the Blue Jays, including guiding the program through the transition from the Missouri Valley Conference into the Big East.

Creighton finished the 2022 season with a 15-27 overall record and a 5-17 mark in Big East play.
