Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2018 was a big day for the Class of 2019 as current seniors could start signing National Letters of Intent.
We had more than a dozen come in around this big day and they’ve been added to the Signing/Verbal Database.
There were two Extra Elite 100 players–both standout pitchers & hitters–who decided the week of the start of the Signing Period, Kelley Lynch from Georgia and Alana Vawter from Missouri, who both chose to sign with Pac-12 schools–Lynch with Washington and Vawter to Stanford. It’ll be fun to watch them compete in years to come.
We also learned of 2019 players we didn’t have in the Signing/Verbal database like Campbell Selman, an infielder from Lifkin, Texas and the younger sister of former Baylor pitcher Kelsee Selman, who signed with Baylor and adds to the Bears strong recruiting haul.
Overall, we have 30 new signings, verbals or club team changes added to the database including signees from the Class of 2019 to programs like Baylor, Ole Miss, Stanford and Washington as well as several 2020’s who have committed recently!
This is our searchable “Extra Inning Softball Signing/Verbal Database” which is typically updated on Wednesdays and serves as a good tool for prospects of all ages to see which players are going where–especially important when a recruit wants to know if a particular university took five pitchers or three middle infielders in their class!
