Extra Inning Softball Signing/Verbal Database (October 10, 2018)

Macy Simmons, who was recently invited to the Jr. National Team tryouts, is one of several who have changed club teams. She was on Firecrackers-Rico last year and will play closer to home in 2018-19.

As we gear up for the launch of the Extra Elite 100 for the 2019 class, which will begin next Monday, we're researching a lot of teams and players (obviously!) and finding a lot of new verbals and players that have changed both club teams and, in some cases, college commits.

In our article on Jenna Baird yesterday we learned that Coach Larissa Anderson got four recruits to reportedly follow her to her new school, Missouri, and we learned this week who two more are this week (they're listed in our list).

Here's one of them, via her Twitter post:

Overall, we have 35 new signings, verbals or club team changes added to the database impacting programs like Arizona State, Arkansas, DePaul, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Michigan State, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Texas A&M and many others!

This is our searchable “Extra Inning Softball Signing/Verbal Database” which is typically updated on Wednesdays and serves as a good tool for prospects of all ages to see which players are going where--especially important when a recruit wants to know if a particular university took five pitchers or three middle infielders in their class!

  • PLAYERS & PARENTS: go to our Contact Us page and fill out the info in “I Committed!” (2nd tab down) to get info to us.
