National champion Oklahoma holds the top spot in the final Extra Inning Softball Top 25 poll of the 2023 season.
The Sooners, who clinched their third consecutive Women’s College World Series championship last week, maintain their spot atop the rankings. National runners-up Florida State check in at #2 in the poll.
Women’s College World Series participants Stanford, Tennessee, Washington, Oklahoma State, Utah, and Alabama round out the top eight positions in the poll. #9 Northwestern is the highest-ranked non-WCWS team.
The final three spots in the poll were occupied by Boston University, Liberty, and McNeese. Both Liberty and McNeese reached Regional finals, while Boston ended the year with 52 wins.
