The upper tier of the rankings remain unchanged in the Extra Inning Softball Top 25 poll following Week 7 action.
For the third consecutive week, the top six in the rankings are the same. Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Tennessee, Stanford, UCLA, and Clemson maintiain their group-sized hold on the top six spots.
The biggest movers in this week’s poll are Northwestern, who moved up five spots, Texas A&M, who rose four spots, and Georgia, who jumped up three positions. Wichita State joins the poll after a series win over UCF in Orlando, while Maryland falls out after being swept by Indiana in a conference series.
Extra Inning Softball‘s Top 25 voting group includes working media members who regularly cover softball, as well as a group of coaches and SIDs.
