Just months away from going north up the California coast to play in the Northwest, Madison Huskey is a talent to watch who has been successful at whatever level she’s played.
In this Extra Inning Softball profile, we get to learn more about the standout from So Cal who admits that—away from the softball field—her two favorite pleasures in life are drinking coffee and watching TV—both in significant amounts!
And, yes, it hasn’t escaped her (or us) that it’s pretty cool and coincidental that Ms. Huskey is going to BE a Husky in the Pac-12. But that’s not why she’s going to the Northwest; you’ll have to read on to see why…

The end of your senior year is coming up fast… what are your thoughts (excited or getting sad)?
I’m getting excited. I’m ready to start a new journey in my life.
Do you have any big or fun graduation plans?
I leave for New Jersey/New York a week after graduation. For softball of course! (laughs)
What are you looking forward to most this summer?
I’m looking forward to playing hard and making memories my last year as an Angel. It’s been a long six-year-journey and I’m ready to close it out strong.
