We’re another day closer to revealing our list of the Extra Elite 100 players for the 2020 class and have a fun one to profile today or–to put it in her own words–meet a “quirky” player who will be playing in the ACC.
After repeating as a Virginia All-State pick earlier this year, Millie Thompson played in 18U club events exclusively and, as a part of a young group of pitchers on a committed-only team, split games with Emma Lemley (2021, Virginia Tech) and Abby Weaver (2020, Virginia) to get experience against top programs like the St. Louis Chaos, the eventual winners as the USA Softball JO Cup, as well as the Texas Bombers, Atlanta Vipers, Tennessee Fury and many more.

So what makes her quirky (she is a lefty after all)?
Her self-proclaimed quirky factor starts with her diet before morning games and continues with the Virginia all-stater’s ability to make cacti sound, well, quite different.
And her dream dinner list of those alive or dead is quite unique too as it’d range from an NHL star and famous TV chef to a legendary rapper and brilliant scientist and one “obvious” guest.
Read on to learn more about this outstanding pitcher who will be one of the first players signed in John Rittman’s program at Clemson which begins in 2020…
