A week from today we launch the Extra Elite 100 player rankings for the 2020 class and will have three weeks of intensive coverage for the current juniors.
Along the way we’ll spotlight players who will make the list and today we feature a top infielder from Northern California who is Pac-12 bound and showed what she can do to impact not just a game, but a tournament when she batted .714 at PGF Nationals this summer and .619 at the Triple Crown World Series.
But it hasn’t all been smooth sailing for Sophie, who had to overcome a significant injury to become the elite player she is today.
Learn more about her below and why she’s Extra Elite 100 material!
