Extra Star Power: 2020 Standout Mikayla Smith Looking Good in (Mean) Green

Mikayla committed to North Texas this fall and will bring to the Conference USA school a nice blend of speed and power.

Today for our special player spotlight we head to Oklahoma to spotlight a top 2020 who at one time was committed to a Big 12 school, but this fall began her second recruiting journey and ended up committing to a Conference USA school based in Denton, Texas and has the skills, experience and high softball IQ to be an early contributor for the DI program…

Mikayla won an Oklahoma 6A state title as a freshman.

High School Stats: hit .437 as a junior this fall and on defense had .952 fielding percentage (60 chances) and helped turn seven double plays.
