One of the top showcase events of the year is the invitation-only West Coast Elite Camp produced by OnDeck Softball.
On Saturday it was held in Henderson, Nevada at the College of Southern Nevada and one of the standouts according to several sources was pitcher/infielder Taylor Caudill from Southern California.
A junior at JSerra, Taylor made the Top 50 of our 2020 Extra Elite 100 and showed well Saturday as a pitcher, where she struck out several batters she faced, looked solid in the infield drills and was reportedly the only batter to hit the ball over the fence in the hitting session.
A standout in the classroom too with a 4.2 GPA and as a pitcher has “great East/West and up and down movement” according to her club coach Jeff Blancho of the Monarchs organization.
Here’s a closer look at one of the fastest-rising prospects in the 2020 class…

How did you think you did at the West Coast Elite Camp on Saturday?
The camp went really well… I believe I showed all the coaches that were there what I could do. Overall, I did a pretty good job, hitting, pitching, fielding, etc.
