Ohio is expected to name Jenna Hall as the program’s new head coach, sources confirmed to Extra Inning Softball.
Hall spent the last three seasons on staff at Pittsburgh, guiding the Panther offense. She shepherded the Panthers’ offense that finished fifth in the ACC in home runs per game during the 2021 season.
Prior to her tenure at Pitt, Hall spent seven years on staff at Ohio State, where she was part of a staff that led the Buckeyes to four NCAA tournament appearances. Her resume also includes stints on staff at Ohio (2008-12) and Illinois, her alma mater.
An All-American during her playing career at Illinois, Hall was inducted into the Fighting Illini Hall of Fame in 2019 and also spent three seasons playing professional softball in the now-defunct National Pro Fastpitch league.
