Providence and head coach Jill Karwoski are parting ways, the school announced on Monday.
“I want to thank Jill for all her hard work over the last five years,” Providence athletic director Steve Napolillo said in a statement. “I wish her all the best in her future endeavors.”
Karwoski spent five seasons as the Friars’ head coach, amassing a 81-102-1 overall record and a 32-53-1 showing in conference play.
During the 2023 season, the Friars were 15-32 overall and went 6-18 in Big East play.
Prior to taking the helm at PC, Karwoski spent stints as head coach at Quinnipiac, Merrimack, and Morehead State. She also served as an assistant at Boston College and a previous stint on staff at Providence.
