
Oklahoma C/UT Jocelyn Erickson is entering the transfer portal, Extra Inning Softball confirmed on Monday.
Erickson was a freshman on the 2023 OU squad, playing in 52 games and starting 32 of them. A natural catcher, Erickson primarily saw action at first base during her rookie year in college.
During her freshman season, Erickson posted a .323 batting average with ten doubles, seven home runs, 24 runs scored, and 31 RBIs to her credit.
According to her online bio, Erickson “chose Oklahoma over Oregon, UCLA, Arizona, Arizona State and BYU.”
She is the youngest of three softball-playing sisters; oldest sister Emilee played at BYU and has been a graduate assistant at Weber State. Middle sister Kaylee played at BYU and recently transferred to Utah State.
