Kelsey Christensen has been named the head coach at Providence.
Christensen spent the last two years on staff at PC, serving as the pitching coach and recruiting coordinator. In 2023, the Friars posted a team ERA of 5.71 with 15 wins and 174 strikeouts in 295.1 innings of work.
Prior to her tenure at Providence, Christensen spent three years on staff at Holy Cross and two years as a volunteer assistant at Michigan State.
She played at Holy Cross and was a four-time conference Academic Honor Roll selection.
During the 2023 season, Providence posted a 15-32 overall record and a 6-18 showing in conference play.
