Washington assistant coach Kyle Nobach is departing the Huskies’ coaching staff.
“Thank you Husky Softball for the last 2 years of my life. I poured my heart and soul into this program and these women. It was an honor to wear the purple and gold. Forever and always grateful,” Nobach wrote on Twitter on Thursday.
An assistant coach at UW since the fall of 2021, Nobach worked with the Husky hitters and outfielders, while also coaching first base.
Prior to his tenure in Seattle, Nobach served as hitting coach for the Everett Community College baseball team in 2018 and also coached a summer league baseball team in 2019. He also spent two years as a private instructor.
He played college baseball at Oregon State and was part of the 2018 College World Series-champion Beaver squad. He earned Honorable Mention All-PAC 12 honors in 2015.
