Former Charlotte pitcher and utility player Lindsey Walljasper is transferring to Boise State.
Walljasper spent the last two seasons at Charlotte after beginning her career and later transferring from Nebraska. In addition to significant time in the circle, Walljasper also played right field and was a part of the regular batting order while in Charlotte.
She has one season of eligibility remaining.
During her two years at Charlotte, Walljasper posted a 3.15 ERA with 31 wins and 223 strikeouts in 329 innings of work. Opponents hit .276 against her. At the plate, Walljasper batted .262 as a Niner, including notching eight home runs; 36 runs scored; 41 RBIs; and a .429 slugging percentage.
At Boise State, Walljasper will be coached by her sister, Allie, who is entering her second year as the Broncos’ pitching coach.
