The 2021 Top Gun Invitational “reveal” show was released last night and the response has been, according to Top Gun Events Owner Robb Behymer “overwhelming.”
“My phone has been ringing since 7:30 am this morning with people having seen the show and saying how excited they are for what we’ve done in putting together a strong field for this summer.”
Hosted by Top Gun Marketing Coordinator Alexa DiSpirito, herself a former collegiate pitcher, the Team Selection Show featured Behymer announcing by age division and with the two levels–Maverick and Viper–the teams and the states they represented.
“We have teams coming from 24 states this year, which is the most we’ve ever had in the nine years of the Invite,” he added.
The show also featured a “special guest,” who turned out to be Extra Inning Softball’s Brentt Eads, who flew in for the recent taping of the show to add insights on some of the top players and teams to watch at Top Gun Invitational in 2021.
“It’s a strong field with great teams ranging from California to Georgia, Texas to Illinois,” he said today. “I love the concept of the ‘reveal’ show,’ like how it is done for the March Madness NCAA men’s basketball tournament, because it makes it so special for the players and teams to be honored in such a cool way.”
