National College Softball Editor Justin McLeod’s “Mid-Major” Top 10 is here following Week 3 action.

There’s another flip-flop at the top of this week’s rankings, with the Ragin Cajuns returning to the top spot after splitting their Crossover series with LSU and winning a Monday night affair with Ole Miss.

Charlotte was 3-1 in their own hosted tournament this weekend, falling to Penn State while beating Boston and Georgia Tech.

In Conway, Central Arkansas swept through their own hosted tournament, including beating Missouri State twice and edging out South Dakota State.

On the strength of some impressive wins, Cal State Fullerton jumps all the way up to #4 – the Titans earned wins over Florida and Oregon this week and have also beaten Tennessee.

Grand Canyon moves up to #5 this week; the Lopes are currently on a 7-game winning streak and posted back-to-back no-hitters in a doubleheader sweep on Tuesday.

Two weekend losses to Wichita State dropped North Texas in this week’s ranking, but the Mean Green do still own a win over Georgia Tech this season.

Boston University continued their consistent approach to begin the season, beating Georgia Tech and Penn State twice after losing to Charlotte to begin the weekend.

Southern Illinois posted their second undefeated weekend of the season in their home tournament, including a win over DePaul.

After a walk-off win over UCF at home last Wednesday and a road victory over South Carolina on Tuesday, Stetson moves into the MM Top 10 for the first time.

Presbyterian holds firm in the Top 10 despite dropping a pair of games to Stetson; the losses were the first of the year for the Blue Hose.

ALSO NOTE:

Appalachian State is on a six-game winning streak… Nevada added to their impressive start with a win over Michigan in California… Southern Miss is quietly off to a 12-1 start in Natalie Poole’s first season as head coach… Omaha was off in week 3, but their early success keeps them in the conversation.
