Mississippi State has signed head coach Samantha Ricketts to a contract extension, the school announced.
The new deal will extend through the 2026 season, a four-year extension. Four years is the maximum term allowed under Mississippi law, indicating that Ricketts’ deal was set to expire this year.
Ricketts led the Bulldogs to a Super Regional berth during the 2022 season, the program’s first under her tenure. The Bulldogs finished the season 37-27 overall, with a 10-14 showing in SEC play.
In three seasons as head coach, Ricketts owns a 97-55 overall record and an 18-29 record against SEC opponents.
Assistant coaches Tyler Bratton and Josh Johnson have also both been promoted to the titles of Associate Head Coach; Johnson will serve as the Bulldogs’ recruiting coordinator.
