PGF 14U Premier Recap: Big Names Roll On, Key Clashes Thursday

We’re down to 16 teams still left in the PGF 14U Premier Brackets and by the end of Thursday it will be the Final Four.

Wednesday saw some exciting games and some top teams drop into the Loser’s Brackets with some big match-ups looming for Thursday. We saw in the 18U Premier last week that it is possible to make the final from the Loser’s Bracket as Mike Stith’s Batbuster team reeled off 10 straight wins after losing the play-in game and almost won it all, but still… it’s a tough road to travel when, like his team last Thursday, had to win six games in one day (and the team did).

So, to stay fresh and avoid fatigue and injuries, it helps a lot to stay in the Winner’s Bracket. Who made it through the gauntlet today?
