Ricki Rothbauer Stubbs Departs as UCCS Head Coach

Ricki Rothbauer Stubbs has resigned her position as head coach at Colorado-Colorado Springs, the school announced last week.

Rothbauer Stubbs spent eight seasons leading the UCCS program, collecting a 161-203 overall record.

According to a school press release, Rothbauer Stubbs is leaving the coaching profession and taking an athletic administration role outside of UCCS.

Prior to taking the helm at UCCS, Rothbauer Stubbs spent four years as head coach at Texas A&M-Kingsville and a year as head coach at Northwestern Oklahoma State.

During the 2023 season, UCCS posted a 14-37 overall record and an 11-31 conference showing. The Mountain Lions were 27-24 overall and 24-16 in conference play in 2022.
