Sunday’s rubber game of the three-game weekend series between Scrap Yard and the Nationals at the Scrap Yard Sports Complex in Conroe, Texas went to the Nationals 11-6.
Tied 4-4 through four and a half innings despite a pair of home runs by Scrap Yard’s Nerissa Myers, the record setting infielder who went to Louisiana-Lafayette, Scrap Yard didn’t take the lead until the bottom of the fifth when it pushed ahead two runs.

Hannah Flippen responded with a home run in the top of the 6th which opened the floodgates as the Nationals scored seven runs to go ahead 11-6, which ended up being the final score.
