Scrap Yard Fast Pitch begins its international series of 10 games this weekend when it competes against teams from China, Puerto Rico and Mexico.
What will make this interesting is that three players who’ve been with Scrap Yard all summer–Anissa Urtez, Brittany Cervantes, and Dallas Escobedo–will be playing for Team Mexico this weekend!

Following this weekend’s action, the USA Softball International Cup will then begin its week-long series of games featuring the two USA teams, Scrap Yard and squads representing Chinese Taipei, China, Puerto Rico, Peru, Japan, Canada, Mexico, Venezuela, Columbia and the Czech Republic.
Nearly 50 games will take place from Monday, July 9 through the championship game on Sunday, July 15 with four games and the championship aired on ESPN Networks and the other games live streamed.
