Division II Seton Hill has hired Cassie Moore as the program’s new head coach.
“I’m pleased to welcome Coach Moore to the Griffin family,” Seton Hill athletic director Chris Snyder said in a statement. “She brings experience as a player and coach that will certainly help our program grow and improve on our recent success.”
Moore spent the last four seasons as the head coach at Bethany College, a Division III program in West Virginia. While at Bethany, she led the Bison to their first 20-win season in a half-decade in 2021 and advanced to the conference tournament championship game that same year.
Prior to her tenure at Bethany, Moore’s resume includes a single season on staff at D2 Coker; one season as head coach at D3 Newbury College; and three years as headcoach at Genesee Community College in New York.
During the 2022 season, Seton Hill posted a 42-12 overall record and advanced to the Division II national championship round. Head coach Jessica Strong left the program this summer to become head coach at Berry College.
