Sioux Falls and head coach Shannon Pivovar have parted ways, Extra Inning Softball has confirmed.
The school advertised the head coaching position for applicants on May 22nd.
Pivovar spent five seasons as the Cougars’ head coach, collecting a 109-113 overall record and a 54-59 record in conference play. During the 2023 season, the Cougars were 24-26 overall and 15-14 against conference opponents.
Prior to taking the helm at USF, Pivovar was an assistant coach at South Dakota State and also spent a single season on staff at Wayne State College under Krista Wood, before following Wood to SDSU.
