The Terrific Ten has you covered on all the best highlights from all the action across college softball on Saturday!

1. Stanford might be one of the week’s biggest winners, posting a 4-0 record through Saturday with two wins each over Georgia and Charlotte in Athens. The Cardinal came from behind to beat Charlotte early Saturday before shutting down Georgia’s powerful offense for the second consecutive day. Stanford has outscored their opponent 15-5 in four games this weekend, though four of those runs came on Saturday’s affair against Charlotte. Georgia scored just once against Stanford’s dynamic pitching.
2. Down in Clearwater, the big winners on Saturday included UCLA, Oklahoma State, and Arizona. First, with the Bruins, it was a come-from-behind win over Florida State and then a quality game against Virginia Tech that won the day for the team from Westwood. The Bruins put up a 6-spot in the first inning against Virginia Tech, a lead they never lost, and moved to 11-0 with the pair of victories. Jordan Woolery continued her hot streak in Clearwater with a 3-4 performance against Virginia Tech that also saw her score two runs.
3. Kiley Naomi and Oklahoma State were about as red-hot as possible in Clearwater, ending their stay in the Sunshine State with two wins, both via run-rule. The Cowgirls are riding a six-game winning streak, dating back to their final game in Puerto Vallarta in week 1, with three of those games checking in as shutouts and four of the six wins coming via the run-rule. Saturday’s efforts included 12-2 and 15-6 wins over Louisiana-Lafayette and Michigan, respectively, which also brought the Cowgirls’ total of runs scored to 55 on the weekend. Naomi had quite a weekend at the plate, with four home runs and twelve RBIs to her credit.
4. Arizona had to wait all of Saturday before their sole game, a matchup against Virginia Tech in the nightcap in Clearwater. Devyn Netz threw a gem, easily her best performance yet this season, against a hard-hitting VT offense. allowing three hits and two runs while striking out six. Netz was backed up by her offense – an offense that scored six runs on seven hits despite striking out 17 times against Emma Lemley. The win was the Cats’ first of the weekend and moved their record to 6-3 on the year.
5. Central Arkansas speedster Jenna Wildeman wrote her name in pen in the UCA record books on Saturday, setting a new program record with the 103rd stolen base of her career. Wildeman has created havoc on the basepaths since her arrival – and is still just a redshirt junior. The swiped bag against Ohio on Saturday was just her 4th of this season.
