Florida State assistant coach Travis Wilson was officially inducted into the International Softball Congress (ISC) Hall of Fame last weekend.
Wilson was one of four chosen for enshrinement in the organization’s Hall of Fame as part of the induction Class of 2022.
The ISC World Tournament is “the men’s fastpitch softball world club team championship,” as the organization describes it; the event is held annually at sites across North America.
Wilson’s induction took place in Moline, Illinois and followed his achievements on the diamond for multiple teams at the ISC tournament. During his playing career, Wilson took part in nine ISC World tournaments stretching from 2005-14 and played for four different squads during that period.
In total, Wilson’s statistics at the ISC annual championships included a lifetime .363 batting average; 16 home runs; 42 RBIs; and 11 doubles.
The Hall of Fame induction is Wilson’s second; he was also inducted into the New Zealand Softball Hall of Fame in 2018.
