Vann Stuedeman has departed the coaching staff at Illinois, sources confirmed to Extra Inning Softball.
Stuedeman spent the 2023 season as the Fighting Illini pitching coach after being hired in late August 2022.
Prior to Illinois, Stuedeman spent eight seasons as the head coach at Mississippi State, compiling a 275-190 record as the Bulldogs’ head coach. She led the program to seven NCAA tournament appearances during her tenure.
Her resume also includes a lengthy stint as an assistant coach at Alabama, where she was part of a staff that led the Crimson Tide to the Women’s College World Series on six occasions. She also previously coached at West Alabama and Alabama-Huntsville.
