On Friday night, UCF was down 8-7 to Boise State in the bottom of the 7th inning in Orlando.
After Shannon Doherty reached base for the Knights, Chloe Evans stepped to the plate – and promptly parked a pitch over the left-center field wall for the 2-run, walk-off home run.
It was only Evans’ third game as a Knight and she immediately wrote her name in UCF lore. After the celebrations, Evans talked about the home run, the win, and her team’s early success.
