San Francisco State Hall of Famer Jordanna Freemer Passes Away

Jordanna Freemer, a former San Francisco State standout, passed away earlier this week from cancer.

Freemer was 36.

A part of the 2005 SF State team that was inducted into the school’s Hall of Fame in September, Freemer was a four-time all-conference selection during her career. She earned all-region and All-American honors in 2006.

Nearly a decade and a half after her playing career ended, Freeman still holds the SF State program career home run record with 33 career longballs. She also holds program records for career RBIs (137), runs scored (152), and walks (98).

Until the 2022 season, Freemer also held the program record for career batting average, after posting a .352 mark during her tenure with the Gators.
