Class of 2027 Uncommitted Roundtable with EIS

In a discussion held on April 3, 2026, Bonnie Holland, CEO of Extra Inning Softball, and Jimmy Greer, event director of the Super Elite Invitational (USSSA), confirmed a major enhancement to one of the spring’s premier events. Extra Inning Softball—powered by 4Flames Athletics—will be on-site in Monroe, Louisiana, on May 1–2, 2026, delivering a fully integrated evaluation experience that combines a data-driven performance combine with tournament-specific player rankings. This initiative introduces a dual-layer evaluation model. Athletes will participate in verified combine testing—capturing metrics such as speed, power, and throwing performance—while also earning event-based ranking scores tied directly to in-game performance throughout the tournament. In addition, comprehensive combine rankings and leaderboards will be produced, allowing athletes to benchmark against national competition. Greer emphasized that the addition elevates the competitive and recruiting value of the Super Elite Invitational, creating an environment where performance is not only evaluated—but quantified and validated. Holland noted that all results, including tournament rankings and combine leaderboards, will be published on the Extra Inning Softball platform and made accessible to college coaches nationwide—further strengthening exposure and long-term athlete visibility.
