Katie Norgard: Power, Poise, and the DI Power 4 Standard
A Georgia Tech commit and one of Alabama’s premier Class of 2026 standouts, Katie Norgard has built a résumé stacked with elite accomplishments. From two-time national champion to 2025 6A Hitter of the Year, Norgard’s achievements reflect years of discipline and competitive fire.
Currently featured on the Extra Inning Softball Class of 2026 DI Power 4 Watch List, she represents the top tier of national prospects—athletes who pair consistency with leadership. Her journey is a reminder that greatness is built through preparation, humility, and the willingness to elevate others.
Klara Thompson: Leadership Defined — DI Mid-Major Excellence
For Klara Thompson, softball is a platform for excellence on and off the field. The Spain Park High School senior and Birmingham Thunderbolts standout is committed to Mercer University and is recognized on the DI Mid-Major Watch List.
With a strong academic record—including A–B Honor Roll and leadership roles—Thompson’s combination of athletic talent and scholastic discipline sets her apart. Her achievements, from North-South All-Star honors to PGF Champion, reflect her reliability and her growing influence as a senior leader.

Ada Woodruff: The Scholar-Athlete Standard — Division II Impact
Featured on the DII Watch List, Ada Woodruff is one of Tennessee’s most complete student-athletes. A standout for MS Glory 18U National and a Presidential Scholar, she represents the perfect balance of academic rigor and on-field dominance.
From earning TSSAA All-District MVP to leading with poise as a pitcher and utility player, Woodruff’s résumé reflects maturity, discipline, and a clear capacity for leadership. Her commitment to Delta State marks the continuation of an already exceptional trajectory.

Preslie Dempster: Championship Mindset — DIII Strength and Grit
Preslie Dempster, featured on the DIII Watch List, has built a legacy grounded in resilience and competitive excellence. The Oak Forest High School standout and Belhaven University commit is a State Champion, Defensive Player of the Year, and MAIS Futures selection.
Her story reflects grit—a journey from heartbreak as a state runner-up to triumph as a champion. Dempster’s leadership, versatility, and mental toughness position her among the most dependable and impactful DIII-bound athletes in the nation.

Molly Anderson: JUCO Bound and Battle-Tested
On the JUCO Watch List, Molly Anderson stands out as one of North Mississippi’s strongest young catchers. Committed to Northwest Mississippi Community College, Anderson brings a proven foundation of consistency—multiple All-County and All-Metro selections, team awards, and academic accolades such as Dean’s List.
Her steady climb from Rookie of the Year to JUCO-bound leader shows a commitment rooted in effort, accountability, and steady improvement. Anderson is a blueprint for athletes preparing for the demands of competitive junior college play.

Bertlee Barrett: Character, Consistency, and NAIA/NCCAA Excellence
A 2026 infielder committed to Williams Baptist University, Bertlee Barrett is featured on the NAIA/NCCAA Watch List and has become one of Mississippi’s most well-rounded student-athletes. Her honors—First Team All-DeSoto County, Division I All-Metro, Citizenship Award, and National Honor Society—reflect excellence grounded in character.
Barrett’s progression as a defender, hitter, and leader has shaped her into a complete collegiate-ready athlete. Her story represents steadiness, integrity, and the kind of work ethic small-college programs value.
