For the past several years, Amber Fiser was the face of Minnesota softball. She was the breakout star early in her career, an All-American, and a major catalyst in the program’s 2019 run to the Women’s College World Series – the first appearance in program history.
The Gophers are Fiser-less entering the 2022 campaign, but after the emergence of Autumn Pease last season, could already have their next ace in the fold. A young offense will be buoyed by some veteran transfer additions, as the Gophers seek to maintain their position in the Big Ten’s ‘upper tier’ of teams.
