Our Overcoming Adversity series shares powerful stories from softball players who have battled injuries, illnesses, personal hardships, and other obstacles, and found the strength to keep going. If you’ve faced a challenge that tested your determination and love for the game, we invite you to share it. Your journey could show athletes across the country that a setback can be the start of an incredible comeback.
Have these ready before you start
- 2 or more photos from your journey (physical therapy, recovery, a hospital setting, or your comeback)
- 2–3 headshot and action photos
- Parent and coach contact info
- Time to reflect on your story and your comeback
- Share only what you’re comfortable sharing
