On July 31, 2021, the PGF Senior High School All-American Game was held in Irvine California and one of the talented players representing the West team was Rylee Holtorf, the Top 5-ranked infielder now at the Univ. of Washington.
Rylee, who was selected in June to play for the USA Softball U-18 Junior Women’s National Team, is the oldest of four athletes in the Holtorf family and I got to catch up with the family after the All-American game outside Deanna Manning Stadium in Bill Barber Park.
Ronnie, the dad, has been a longtime coach in the Arizona Storm organization while Raegan is a top 2025 prospect as well; add to that the athletic endeavors of Reese and Reid and it’s apparent the family is pretty much all sports all the time.
As Ryanne, the matriarch of the clan said in the video clip below, “I’ve been in my bed one, maybe two nights, this whole summer!”
