SATURDAY
CONFERENCE USAÂ — North Texas wins the CUSA tournament in run-rule fashion, taking down Western Kentucky in the tournament final. The Mean Green never lost in the conference tournament. The Mean Green are in driving distance from four potential Regional hosts. WKU now awaits their fate for a possible at-large selection on Sunday night. The Hilltoppers entered Saturday at #40 in the RPI, firmly on the Bubble, and have a win over Alabama as part of their resume.
AMERICAN — UCF is the American Conference champions and earn the automatic bid to the NCAA tournament. The Knights have done everything they can to earn a top-16 seed and a Regional hosting opportunity. The Knights won every regular season series in conference play, made quick work of the tournament, and played a hearty non-conference schedule. Now UCF will anxiously wait for Sunday’s selection show.
