Jolie Adams has been a finalist on two of the biggest stages in softball.
Adams, #6 in the 2024 Extra Elite 100, batted .414 and was named the Rookie of the Year after leading Lake Central High in Indiana to the IHSAA Class 4A state championship game before losing to Roncali, 4-1.

In the summer, she helped Lady Dukes-Lamar reach the PGF 18U Premier national title game before losing to Jordy Bahl (Oklahoma) and Nebraska Gold 18U-National, 2-1, in 9 innings in the finals.
Adams began her sophomore season with Lake Central and she decided to leave the Lady Dukes, #2 in the nation, and join #10 Georgia Impact 18U Premier-Lewis for the club potion of the season this Summer.
This could be the year for the super sophomore.
“If I were to say anything, I would say that Jolie is a very dependable teammate,” said North Florida-bound P/OF Amanda Aardema, who is teammates with Adams at Lake Central.
“She is always there for me when I strike out, ready to make me laugh. She is a great leadoff hitter that carries the energy through the lineup. It’s one of the main reasons why I love batting behind her; because the majority of the time she’ll be on base. In the field, she has gained the trust of everyone, including us pitchers. Overall, I am so happy to share a high school and travel ball experience with her.”
Northern Illinois-bound Kiley Conner, who plays for Lake Central and Tennessee Mojo Blue 2022, said Adams has an important quality.
“Jolie is a great teammate and she’s a very honest person,” Conner said. “She will tell you what you need to improve on and what you can work on. She’s a great leader on the field and off of the field. She puts fun in the game and I love playing high school with her.”
Adams’ teammates love her.
“Jolie is an amazing person on and off the field,” Saint Xavier-bound P/2B Olivia Balog said of her Indians’ teammate.
“She is someone you can always count on to be there for you no matter where or when it is. She knows her teammates and she knows the field well, so you can always count on her 100 percent of the time. She is one my best friends and I wouldn’t trade that friendship for the world.”

Tell us about your travel team/organization and how you became involved with them?
After leaving the (Lady) Dukes, I had to evaluate what team would be the best for me next. After talking to the coaches and getting to know them, I decided Impact was best for me and it helped that I knew players on the team.
What were some of the training methods and workouts you did to stay busy during the stay-at-home orders because of the COVID situation?
I did lots of abs and bodyweight workouts. I also ran at least two miles a day outside. My training never really stopped or changed. I just took everything outside and did it alone instead of in groups.
What is something you have faced in your life that has helped you become the person that you are today? Something that has made me the person I am today is deciding to move with my sister. She has 100 percent shaped me and continues to guide me into the person I am today.
