It’s been great to see the huge year Univ. of Washington redshirt junior Morganne Flores has put in so far after missing all of the 2018 season with a season-ending knee injury.

Sunday the Huskies finished a second straight sweep in Pac-12 series play with an 8-0 run-rule win over Oregon State and Flores was a big reason why as she hit her fourth home run of the week and now has at least one run scored in seven of the last eight games.

Washington is 29-6 on the year, 6-3 in conference play and was ranked in the Top 10 of the latest Extra Inning Softball/JWOS Power Rankings.

Flores is hitting .311—4th best on the team—while leading the Pac-12 power in several offensive categories including home runs (11), RBIs (29), total bases (29), slugging percentage (.670) and OPS (1.055).
