The verdict is in!! After weeks of excitement, the votes are in, and the Fast Pitch Fan Pick results for the Class of 2028 are finally here!
Across the nation, thousands of fans, teammates, and families took part in Extra Inning Softball’s Fast Pitch Fan Pick – People’s Choice Awards—a unique opportunity for the softball community to decide who they believe are the top five players in each position: pitchers, catchers, infielders, and outfielders.
For the past several days, our polls were open on the Extra Inning Softball website, where fans could watch video clip and cast their votes for the athletes who impressed them most.
The passion, participation, and discussion across social media proved one thing—softball fans know their game and aren’t afraid to make their voices heard.
Understanding the Fan Verdict
While the Extra Inning Softball Rankings Committee spent weeks evaluating over 1,200 players nationwide to determine the official Extra Elite 100, this Fast Pitch Fan Pick honor reflects the heart of the community itself.
From dominant strikeout artists in the circle to slick defenders on the infield, this group represents the players who made lasting impressions not just through performance, but through connection—the athletes that fans simply couldn’t stop watching.
