Elsa Morrison, one of the top all-around athletes in the 2025 class, has decided to continue her academic and athletic career at The University of Tennessee.

She began her softball journey in Carmel, Indiana at the age of five, playing up with older girls. For years, she trained under Coach Chad Poeck with help from her brother’s baseball coaches.
However, in 2022—Elsa’s sophomore year of high school—her family decided to make the move to Farragut, Tennessee because her father accepted a job in the area. At Farragut High School, she joined the volleyball and softball team.
During her first season with the team, Elsa helped the team to earning 5th in the state, and was named the 2023 Tennessee Gatorade Player of the Year. The athlete broke the single-season home run record at Farragut, with 23, and went .617 at the plate with 71 RBIs.
Following this incredible season at her new high school, Elsa joined a new club team, the Texas Bombers 18U Gold, led by Coach Scott Smith.
During the summer, Elsa demonstrated her mastery behind the plate and in the middle infield for the Bombers. Additionally, she led the team in nearly every offensive category, batting .500 with an on-base percentage of .552. Driving 22 home runs over the fence, Elsa’s game garnered the attention of several Power 5 programs, each eagerly awaiting the arrival of September 1st.
